Hey, what’s up! Hello,
Thanks for visiting my blog.
My name is Rodolfo Santoyo, and I currently live in New York City where I go to school. I am a Business major and hope to someday take over the technology industry. Ok, that might be a tad too much, but my goal is to eventually work with a big tech company (Apple) and come up with the latest and greatest device.
I grew up in Houston, Texas so moving to New York was definitely a change. If there is anything I’ve learned in NYC is that apps like City Mapper and services like Uber can become your best friends while navigating the city. As a college student, I am always looking to save money and time. As a way of Paying it forward to my fellow students (and anyone who reads this blog), I want to share my insight on ways I have been able to do both, save time and money.
Appy hour was born out of my obsession with my iPhone. The whole concept of Appy Hour is to publish detailed reviews about new applications that have not made it to the top of the charts (yet). Tons of apps get buried in the App Store, considering there are over 1.5 million apps, so I want to make sure useful apps don’t get lost in “space” aka the Apple App Store. I own an iPhone, so they will get tested on an iPhone but I will make sure to include if the apps are available on the Google Play Store.
My hope is to save you time while not crunching your wallet (trust me I’m in college (in New York)). Some reviews will include reviews from my friends so that different insights can be incorporated.
Make sure to check every week when I highlight a new App!
